Summary
This session will provide delegates with an understanding of the
legal framework in which an accident investigation works. It will
consider best practice when conducting an investigation and
practical aspects of managing an investigation from start to
finish.

Lisa Wilson
Lisa is a Solicitor in the Regulatory Team of Eversheds LLP
specialising in corporate criminal defence work. She advises both
national and international companies facing criminal proceedings,
specifically advising in relation to investigations by the HSE, the
Environment Agency, the Police and other regulatory bodies. Her
work covers health and safety investigations and proscutions, road
traffic matters and environmental law.
Lisa has delivered presentations to a variety of audiences on
topicsincluding the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide
Act 2007, Health and Safety offences and accident
investigations.
