What's in it for me

This is an opportunity to realise the advantages and the pit-falls of being your own boss - a safety consultant.

Who should attend?

This presentation will be of use to seasoned health and safety professionals and those just coming into the safety profession.

Speakers

Subash Ludhra IOSH President

Subash, a chartered fellow of IOSH, has a wealth of experience in health and safety, having worked across sectors and disciplines in a truly diverse 23-year career to date.

His dedication to the occupational health and safety sector saw Subash voted IOSH President Elect in November 2010.

Qualified as an Occupational Hygienist, Subash now specialises in Risk Management and Loss Control.

Having started his career in local government, Subash then moved to the brewing industry, working for Grand Metropolitan and Courage Brewing as the southern region health and safety manager. His next career move lead him to Rentokil Initial where he was group health and safety manager for Initial Textile Services and then when on to become board director of Initial Catering Services.

In 2002, Subash founded a successful risk management and loss control consultancy that has provided services to blue chip companies and SMEs around the world.

As an experienced trainer, Subash regularly contributes to a number of health and safety publications and has been involved with the production of several health and safety documents for trade associations and the Health and Safety Executive.

Subash finds the work he does varied and stimulating. As well as interacting with people from all walks of life and diverse cultures, Subash relishes the fact that he can help organisations reduce workplace risk, losses and even help save lives.
