Welcome to IOSH Egypt
IOSH Egypt is part of the IOSH
Middle-East committee and is aiming to work with safety
professionals across Egypt to further develop safety within the
country. We are working towards the IOSH vision which is:"A world
of work which is safe, healthy and sustainable"
Our Objectives:
The IOSH Egypt network want to provide an
opportunity for Egyptian health and safety professionals to be part
of an exclusive network.
Many Egyptian health & safety
professionals have successfully completed NEBOSH certificates
and/or diplomas and are now looking to benefit from an
internationally recognised professional body. We believe a national
network based on the fundamental principles of the Middle-East
committee, can provide exciting opportunities. Short term
objectives for the network are as follows:
· support safety
and health professionals in achieving their aims and goals with
their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through
mentoring
· introduce new
members to our professional body
· organise events
for networking and sharing safety knowledge
· develop alliances
with government organisations and other associations to promote
safer work environments.
We are planning to hold seminars at locations
in Cairo and Alexandria to discuss topical HSSE issues and provide
further opportunities for engagement and networking within
IOSH.
